The Village of Monee will receive sealed bids for the “LeFevre Bailly Park” project. The bid package will be received until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, at the Monee Village Hall, 5130 W. Court Street, Monee, IL 60449. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Bids may be received by mail or delivered in person prior to 10:00 a.m. January 14th, 2025. No Bid Packets will be received or considered after 10am (CST). Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “LEFEVRE BAILLY PARK”.
Bid shall be held good and not withdrawn for THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date of bid opening.
A “Pre-Bid” Conference for LeFevre Bailly Park will be scheduled on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. local time, at LeFevre Bailly Park, 5511 W. Court Street, Monee, IL with parking available on S. Briar Lane. Representatives of all bidding firms are strongly encouraged to attend to present any questions they may have. Neither the Landscape Architect nor Owner will respond to questions verbally regarding the Project outside the Pre-Bid Conference. All requests for clarifications or interpretations outside the Pre-Bid Conference shall be made to the Landscape Architect in writing and will be answered by Addendum when appropriate. All questions are due to the Landscape Architect by Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. local time, after this time no additional questions will be reviewed prior to the bid opening.
Electronic Bid Documents (in PDF format) will be available on Thursday, December 12, 2024, by 8:30 a.m. to registered bidders for no cost at the Landscape Architect’s website, http://bidlist.f-w.com. Electronic bidding access will only be provided to interested bidding companies. Printing of such documents is the responsibility of the plan holder in accordance with website Terms and Conditions.
The Village of Monee shall award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation to bid and is most advantageous to the Village of Monee; price and other factors considered. The Village of Monee reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner.
